So Jordan at ADV1 is actually filling orders, shipping wheels and keeping his customers happy now? Have any of you ordered from ADV1 recently?

The LONG history of 360Forged & ADV1 is enough to steer me far clear of doing business with them, no matter how good the product looks.

Maybe somebody know -> How much money does cost 4 wheels 19inch forged series from Rennen modular RM10 or R8 concave on C63 AMG?

i see a whole list of wheels out there but nobody has put FORGELINE . i can promise you that you won't beat the price to quality ratio of FORGELINE . my wheels are 19x8.5 , 19x9.5 3-piece . i would like to see people post prices of the same size wheels of these companies listed . i bet i can beat a majority of them , if not all of them .

I knew there'd be tons of argument when I posted that list. When I say "low tier", that's not to say low quality. COR makes great wheels. Same as Forgestar. Even the rep companies like MRR make great wheels, but they are not in the same category as HRE for instance. When I posted that up there, that was one persons opinion based on personal experience and dealings with customers who have ordered those wheels and dealing with the vendors. Is it set in stone, of course not. Some have better experiences than others and will rank differently. Wheels are one of the most hotly discussed subjects out there and there are really so many companies that come and go through the years.

And I understand fully well that ADV.1 and Jordan fiasco as we got burned by 360 as well, but willing to give them a fresh start and so far, they haven't disappointed.

lol i was in the same position you were, didn't know what wheels to get.. i've searched high and low on forums, internet sites and magazines to make a decision. at the end my shorlist came down to HREs or ADV.1.

you can't go wrong with HREs, great brand and especially the monoblock editions.. they are superbly hot! but since i wanted something different, something to have on my C63 that will stand out amongst the rest, i ended up pulling the trigger for the ADV.1 Deep Concave 10 wheels (3 piece).

there was a back order of at least 2 months and you have to be really patient about this and it does make a lot of difference for your shop to manage your expectations. when i received them wheels, put them on the car.. it was just simply perfect. yes the deep concavity is not as deep as other vehicles, but that's just due to the high offset our cars have. but man.. its purty sweet once its on!

i don't mean to hijack your thread but here's my post on this link with an updated picture from Thursday https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-wheels-2.html.

there are many types of wheels out there, at the end of the day you're gonna have to ask yourself what's your purpose: looks or performance? i'm sure whatever decision you make, it would be a good one!

do share with us what you end up getting

tasho, I almost bought those wheels for my car... but they didn't have deep dish in the back at all (1.5inch with step lip). OZ makes great quality wheels, but our cars offset makes them not look too good.

true we are very limited due to our offset, but i dont really care about the deep dish, i like the flush look, i backed out of them because the car is gonna be stored pretty soon for the winter, probably gonna pull the trigger on them next spring. i have seen this wheels in person and they look amazing.

Great choice if you don't mind the lip size... OZ makes amazingly strong wheels!! Post pics if you ever decide to get them. Love the supperlegera III design.

COR or adv1 are no where near the same league as HRE.

The truth is that no wheel company out there compares to HRE in quality and finish. The only company that comes close is Klassen.

That being said, COR is a very high quality wheel. They never miss their lead times. They use PPG forgings which are among the very top tier material suppliers. The centers are produced at a quality facility that cuts the centers for several other wheel companies that are known for their top shelf product lines. The finish is also good on those wheels.

Personally, I'd love to hear why exactly one would rank a wheel brand a certain way. Particularly, why would one compare a quality forged wheel with a flow-formed/cast wheel?

I'd go with Klassen, COR or DPE. We normally do our own quality control on those wheels before shipping them out. That is because we pick them up from the manufacturing facilities personally.

Under new ownership, Fikse Wheels went back to full production in March of 2010. The company will offer the same timeless wheel styles as before but with many new fitments and styles coming online as well. Be on the lookout for the very long awaited 19” and 20” modular and monobloc fitments from Fikse Wheels.

Very interested in this. Fikse is one of my favorite wheel manufacturers. It's great to hear that they are coming back to the forefront.
