C63 estate?
Hey,
just thought i was gonna ask for your thoughts about the estate version. I'm a family man (24 yrs old, wife and 2 beagles).
Does anyone like the way the estate looks? Personally i like it but just wanted to hear your opinions of it.
Also, does it handle exactly the same way the sedan (saloon) does?
Sorry for the noob question above but how can i learn if i don't ask....
Appreciate your time!

There are only few members here who can help you because the estate is not available in the US

Ah. Good to hear
My wife drives a slightly tamed version of it (C 200 CDI) and i really like the dimensions of the car. It could use some more power though, which is where the AMG badge comes into play
Loved my sedan so i see no reason why i wouldn't love the estate as much, if not more now that i can configure it myself.

I know the estate version is slightly more expensive but if you need trunk space then it'll be worth it. The estate handles the same way the sedan does. It is only 40kg heavier than the sedan and it is supposed to be 0,1sec slower 0-100km/h but I don't believe that (at least I don't want to) ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
If you need any more info just ask. Here you can see some pics of my C63 estate![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

As for the Polish winter it can be harsh sometimes but the C never lets me down

I live in the mountains in Poland and there are days where I have to borrow my sister's GL because my car just won't move. I use the car daily all year around.
You just have to remember a few things when driving a 450+hp rear wheel drive car in the snow.
Here are some pics

It depends what matters to you. The C is definitely smaller on the inside and provides less comfort (no Airmatic) and less trunk space. But on the other hand, you will have a car from the "new Mercedes generation" (no more round headlamps) with the new comand APS and the possibility to turn off the ESP completely. The C63 is sligthly slower than a W211 E63 but the steering is much more precise and direct.
If 457hp is not enough, there is always Kleeman in Denmark
