yes for 2011 P31 came with LSD in canada for sure. but in 2010 P31 the LSD is an option.

For 2011 MY in Canada the LSD is included as part of the P31 Package for $7800 CDN.

For 2010 MY in Canada The LSD was a stand alone option for $2400 CDN and the P31 Package was $6000 CDN.

Umm, for exactly that reason, it has a different tune and different, forged internals...

No and no. you will need a header tune unless you like less than optimal performance and check engine lights

This is an interesting article on P31 by Car & Driver, seems to be that their opinion is that the P31 package is completely unnecessary.

European P31 includes LSD.
The Internals (Pistons, conrods and crankshaft) are the same as the SLS parts and weigh 3kg less. They are stronger and give a better base for mods.
Especially here in Germany, where we are going long distances with high power and revs, the stronger internals make sense when modified.
It is said the differnce between modified P31s and non-P31s is about 20hp, no diffence in torque. With P31 you can go 200revs higher than with non-P31s
