2019 E63s AMG
Running some rough numbers ... based on roughly 18 events a year, 4 instructor salaries, basic variable cost and general maintenance (some factoring like 4 events per brake replacement), oil change after each event, tires after each event ... etc

Through together their rough net revenue a year

obviously some other variable cost are not included ... what I am saying is, either some other cost center is picking up the depreciation of the cars or this is a very unprofitable thing for MB to do

With enough information I could run the Breakeven, but with rough numbers they would have to do about 30 events if the academy had the cost of cars on its books.

I used to auto-x a modified MINI Cooper S, but I haven't in years.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I think the 1-day class is ~$2k, the 2-day around $3k. The Private Lounge regularly has discounts on classes that are close, but not full. Mine was in May @ Road Atlanta.
