Steel Grey Metallic C63!!
+11111 Awesome results!! Where are you feeling most of these results? Top end or at all RPM's? I also recall that you said you commute quite a bit with your Beast, do you notice quite an increase in interior noise? Is it tolerable?

More power ALL over the rpm band; better throttle control w/ more TQ with the OE Tuning retune! And, no extra noise or drone when cruising around, but when I step on it...WOW...HUGE noise, but AWESOME sounds, like it's a Formula One race car or something, lol!

Go back and watch my fly-by video...

Those downshifts are awesome and should discourage any Ricer trying to "play."

* Mustang Dyno calibrated for DynoJet (after MBH LT headers + retune by OE Tuning):

475 RWHP / 433 lb-ft RWTQ -> another +24 RWHP from retune / another +21 lb-ft RWTQ from retune

So, total HP/TQ gains with these MBH LT Headers + retune by OE Tuning are as follows:

* Mustang Dyno (after MBH LT headers + retune by OE Tuning): + 46 RWHP / + 39 lb-ft RWTQ

* Mustang Dyno calibrated for DynoJet (after MBH LT headers + retune by OE Tuning): + 51 RWHP / +46 lb-ft RWTQ

Notes - my AFR went from being too rich (11.2 AFR) with my previous ecu flash tune to a better, more even AFR (12.6 AFR) with the OE Tuning ecu flash retune. In addition, Jeremy @ OE Tuning eliminated my "cats under-efficient" CEL as well.

The power I just gained from the MBH LT Headers + OE Tuning ecu flash retune is like I just got a another ECU Flash on top of my ecu flash, haha!!!!

Needless to say, I am not only very pleased with these MBH LT Headers, but also extremely happy with OE Tuning's retune of my ecu flash. Jeremy seems to be a "master" at this...very professional, very knowledgeable, and seems to know the C63 AMG's ecu and its maps like no other!!! And, once again, kudos to Euro.Spec as well...both OE Tuning and Euro.Spec are fantastic and I highly recommend them!!!!

Anyone who gets these MBH LT Headers (or another brand of headers) really should consider calling Jeremy at OE Tuning for an ecu flash retune OR if you're completely stock and want an ecu flash for your MB C63 AMG...call Jeremy at OE Tuning!!!! OMG...you will not be disappointed!!!!

Dynos attached...
This kind of post makes the wait even more difficult for my MBH
Headers and mid-pipes.

Congrats on the awesome gains.

Update - well, after driving my car around with the MBH LT Headers + OE Tuning retune for a few days, all I can say is my car is a friggin MONSTER! It pulls so freakin' strong now (not that it didn't before, but nothing like it does now with +51 RWHP / +46 lb-ft RWTQ). The TQ is all over the power band which is certainly very nice. And, of course, the sound of these MBH LT headers is just amazing...like a Forumula One race car or similar...just crazy when I 'get on it.'

One issue though: I noticed my rear tires seem to have worn out just a bit prematurely, lol...getting another set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S + tires on the rear by Tuesday.

Now that you've got your "last mod" done, when are track results going to be shown?

Most likely when the weather really cools down later this month or in Dec...I hate going when it's too hot and humid. Unlike some, I don't go to the track every other weekend. I should also note I will be on my street tires, not DRs so I'll be lucky if I can muster up a launch good enough for a < 2.0 sec. 60ft.

Sounds great, keep us informed...... If you go over to PBIR, you'll def. have better traction, even on street tires.

Hope so, b/c the last time I ran @ PBIR, my best launch only yielded a horrible 2.048 sec. 60ft...but admittedly, my rear street tires were almost bald; just put on some new shoes on the rear today so we'll see.

I should run w/ DRs but honestly, I just don't go to the track enough to justify buying a set of wheels/DRs.

I know alot of guys who are running BFG D/R's all the time on and off the track. Just get a set mounted on the stock wheels and run them everywhere...

Yeah, just found them...275's. We'll see; they're not inexpensive at $241/ea. on DiscountTireDirect.com...been spending a fortune on my car lately as it is.

How are these street radials and such on light rainy days or in the turns?

Haven't had a problem in the rain yet but I'm careful because
I know the tires are not rain friendly.

When it rains I drive in C mode and leave traction control on.

I am running the ContiExtreme Contact 3 265-35-18... They were cheap and I pulled 1.9 60ft's this last Friday at PBIR... Car hooked up great!

I have an OE tune as well and I ran 12.29 @ 114.9... I will post the slips.. What kind of times have you run...? When you go to the track make a post or let me know... I would love to see your car!

Nice run!! I'll let you know when I'm going to PBIR...can't this weekend after the 1st real cold front comes through, but maybe toward the end of the month or in Dec. for sure. I ran 12.4 sec. @ 115mph 1 year ago w/ the RENNtech tune and almost bald street tires (w/ a 2.048 sec. 60ft).

So, I "played around" with a black SL63 AMG today. Funny, b'c I think he was seriously getting very frustrated and pissed off since he couldn't keep up with me...I put about 20 bus lengths on him on the highway, lol!!!! I toyed with him for about 30 min / 20 mi. or so.

After I slowed down and let him get next to me, I gave him a nice smile and thumbs up, but there was absolutely no response from him; he didn't roll down his window to talk or give a thumbs up and he had 'limo' tint on his windows. He must have been like WTF is up with that C63 AMG, why does it sound like that (when the SL63 AMG doesn't) and why did I spend twice the $$ on my SL63 AMG???? SL63 AMG...nice car btw.
