I know the dash and door panels are this thick textured plastic. What do you guys clean or shine it with? Or does it even need to be shined?
I tried some leather cleaner but it really didn't do anything.

My car washing and detailing guy uses Pledge (like for dust and wood surfaces) on my dash. I asked him about it and he said it works great.
He's really talented, btw.
+1 on the Maguiars. I just started using it myself and it works great.

I watched him do it. I asked if it was okay on leather and he said, "don't worry, your dash is not leather." It works great and harmed nothing. Why would Pledge hurt an artificial surface like the material that lines the dash?
Edit: I asked the guy who does my car and he said the yellow pledge is the stuff to use as it says on the back of the can that it can be used on leather. I haven't read the can myself, but this is what I was told. Also, I know C63 dash isn't leather, but I'm just passing on the info that I was told and sharing another option that I have been pleased with.

I tend to use very little stuff in general on my interiors, just keep them as dust free and dirt free as possible, frequent vac.
But my car is not a DD

Griots Garage interior cleaner is really good. No film or residue & works great on matte finish dashes (BMW & MBZ particularly).
griotsgarage.com, all of their cleaning & polishing line has done me well.

Nothing. Just wipe the dash, leather seats with damp cloth. I find that any of the commercial stuff would evaporate onto the internal glass during hot days.

I started using this and it's great. Works on glossy surface and doesn't leave greasy wipe marks like many other products. Also brought Einszett Gummi Pfledge that's very effective at restoring and softening rubber as well. Overall awesome line of products.

I use Pledge Multi-Surface cleaner(in the aerosol can), it is safe for any type of surface, leaves a nice shine but not greasy at all and actually reduces static and thus does not attract more dust. It's the best stuff out there and it's not even marketed towards automotive detailing, if they were smart they would just change the graphics on the can and start selling the stuff in AutoZones and Pep Boys. Works great on glass too, better than most glass cleaners. Great stuff.

BTW I would stay away from Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant, it left some nasty white chalky streaks on my dash when I tried it.

Yes, nothing greasy or glossy. The best test for this is on the glossy surface of the interior. No fingerprints or streaks.
