There seems to have been some uptick in the interest in the AMG Driving Academy as of late. The costs to attend can be fairly high, but here is a way to save a few bucks if you are interested in attending:
Mercedes-AMG offers Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) members special pricing to attend the AMG Driving Academy. The discounts are significant and it only costs $45 to join the club (www.mbca.org). You get it – join MBCA and you’ll qualify for the AMG Driving Academy special pricing discounts listed below (U.S. tracks – see below).

This event is instructed by Bernd Schneider who was my instructor in Brno. Rumor is they are pulling out some DTM, GT3s and other special cars for the group to run in addition to the standard SLS fair. Will post pics and video post event. Should be a blast as the course is known for some very fast straights and with Schneider being the lead, he will for sure push us all to the limit.
