Anyone tried the AD08's?
Im in need of new tires, or at least rears and I was thinking of trying the Yokohama AD08's but wanted to see if anyone has had a chance to try them out? Im in San Antonio, TX where its warm and dry most of the year so I was thinking of making them my everyday tire. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Ive heard good things about the AD08's, but i wouldn't use it as an everyday tire. The treadwear is too low, and if your using it for daily commute id get something else. I would get these tires if i did alot of aggressive driving through canyon for example. If you do aggressive driving then id go for it.
I would really look into the Bridgeston RE-11, Dunlop Direzza star spec or Nitto NT05 also.

So with the RE11's did you go 275 in the rear? And if so did you have any trouble with that size and how did it look compared to 255?

The RE-11's are truly amazing tires for aggressive driving. The 265/35/18's re-11's are the widest you can fit on the stock 18's. I figure they will be only a couple of mm's wider then the stock pzero's. To be honest with you the stock Pirellis are pretty wide tires. I compared my 275 hankooks with the 255 pirellis and the hankooks were only 2mm's wider. I measured both tires with a digital caliper, so it was a pretty accurate.

Ahh I see! I am running the 19" rims though. I've had a few people tell me the 265's are fine but I don't see a 265/30/19 for the RE11's.... What to do? All I'm really looking for is a more grip in straight line, but improved cornering wouldn't bother me too much either. Thanks again!

In Japan alot of people put on Advan Neova AD08 on street also. Right now I have Advan Sports but next set for sure it will be AD08. I think that it will be no problem on street also and for track also.
Other maybe Advan Sports or Michelin Sports Cup. P-Zero?
