P31 AMG Development Package on an '09 C63
Hey Guys,
I have an 09 c63 and i was wondering if I can get the P31 AMG Development Package for it. Does the car need to come from factory with this option or can you add this on to an existing model? I would love to have the additional HP and whatever else it comes with.

Technically the ECU tuning shouldn't be a problem (given that they agree to it), but the rest of it, such as the forged parts could be a bit more tricky. Maybe someone else has better insight to this matter. If you're after the power just go with an aftermarket tune
Wouldn't do it myself but from what i've read here they seem to work fine without killing the engine.

The P31 hardware components (lighter crank, forged pistons, etc...) can definitely be added to your car. It will be expensive, but more importantly, it will require someone with great expertise and great reputation. You should contact RENNtech, I've heard they've done it already on a couple of cars.

Probably best to trade up to a C63 that already has the P31 option or simply get an aftermarket tune if it is mainly the increase in engine performance you are after.
