What ever you listen to, don't be "that guy". you know the dude who rolls up next to you at a stop light blasting music with the windows down. Then everyone else rolls their windows up. Or the guy at the gas station who leaves the stereo blasting while they pump their gas for all to hear.

Back in my VW days (Had a jetta 1.8t.. nothing special), but had about $5k worth of aftermarket audio (that got stolen twice.. I never replaced third time around... ... )

I like my weird music.. really loud, but generally in traffic, or pulling up to a stop light, or residential areas, I would turn it down and/or close the windows... unless there was a turd with loud crappy music (crappy based on my likes) who pulled up next to me.. then I crank it up.....

I will admit.. I used to drive through underground or mall parking lots with heavy base type music to set off car alarms... Okay.. so I was in my early 20's back then... sue me :P

I always get embarrassed for some reason and I have to mute the tunes when I'm at a stoplight. I just don't want to fall into the stereotype that most folks think of when they see MB drivers.

PLUS...I don't want the 5-0 noticing anything I do...

Was listening to this today, thought I would dedicate this song to the famous Nurburgring.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jImJhzSMlzw

The original Misfits live version is badass!!

For those of you who dont know, Green Hell was a name given to the Nurburgring by race car driver Jackie Stewart in 1968.

I like to roll down my windows and listen to the sound of my car! Roaring exhausts is my favorite music of all!

Sirius 38 Boneyard, Metallica, Anthrax, Queensryche, Dio, Pink Floyd, house, Area, BPM, even Latin music occasionally (especially from Brazil).

But first I turn the radio off, leave my driver's side door open and start up the beast. I love that sound the most

I have to admit that I’m not very selective when it comes to music. I’ll hear anything between tango and heavy metal. But there are those songs that never get old. To name a few, from a variety of genres (but specially rock):

Man or Animal and Gasoline – Audioslave
I’m shipping out to Boston – Dropckick Murphys
Thunderstruck – AC/DC
Have Love will Travel - Sonics
Toreador – Apocalyptica (by four cellos!)
Strict Machine – Goldfrapp
Save my Soul – Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Libertango – Astor Piazolla
Ludus from Tabula Rasa – Arvo Paart
Concierto de Aranjuez by Paco de Lucia – Rodrigo
Lift me Up – Moby

I had the pressure to meet Ken Casey from the Dropkicks at his bar McGeevys in Boston 2 weeks ago. The day after the Bruins won the cup. Totally a great guy. He even gave my brother and I his person email to score tickets the PHX show this weekend. He hasn't returned my brother's email yet. Its ok though, I already have tickets. Its pretty damn cool that when he is not touring he hangs out in his own bar greeting anyone that comes in

I actually listen to a lot of J-pop and J-rock. I used to live in Japan and It kind of rubbed off on me. I also listen to alot of 90's rock.

Though my favorite band of all time was NIN, I rarely listen to them anymore.

I actually am on business all day everyday and sometimes the only time I have for business/conference calls are when Im driving (blue tooth hands free of course) time is money so I would say that I dont listen to much music in the car lol
