Forgestar F14 wheels - any rubbing on stock suspension?

Hi guys,

I'm in the market for some new wheels for my C63 and I like the look of the Forgestar F14's. From other threads, I understand that there can be a wait on these which is fine...

I also noticed that some of the blokes on here complained about rubbing with 275/30/19's on the 19x10 ET50 rear wheels, but they had dropped their cars... If I was going to run the same set-up on stock suspension, should I expect rubbing as well or would there be enough clearance with the stock suspension?

Thanks in advance for any help!

John

You should be fine at stock height... I have the same set up, and only rub once going at high speed over a dip in the road. That's why I'm not lowering my car unless I go with 265/30/19 for my next set of tires.

Thanks for the heads up Roswell! I'm going to keep my ride on the standard shocks/springs so that's great news!

This question might sound stupid, but can you explain what everyone is talking about re the wheels not being hubcentric to the c63? Apparently the wheels need different parts to make it fit? Does that reduce the effectiveness/quality of the wheel fitment?

You have to get different lug nuts too as the seat of the Forgestar is different from the factory wheel

get 265s. mine rubbed with 275/30/19 RE11s on stock height with a passenger

what you need are hubcentric rings.. it will center the wheel on the hub.
