Did the fuel economy change in 2011? Why is the green levy $1000 less than last year?

Should be the same as far as fuel economy is... until we get the 5.5L engine. The green tax is all about politics.

Quick update to all: I have added the performance package to the car - cost per month is now gone up to $1336

Over a span of 60 months (financing) package is going to cost me - 3072 @ 2.4 percent

PLEASE NOTE: I have had a massive issue with the Dealership in Barrie (Ontario) - They lied about having a car with the previous options and now I had to opt for this one and pay the extra money

Hopefully getting the car tomorrow

Any questions - always ping me

thx

2010 C63 Ratings
17.2 / 10.4 / 14.1

2011 C63 Ratings
16.9 / 10.3 / 13.9

Thus for 2011 the C63 is in a lower bracket in terms of Green Levy and is only $1000 (versus $2000 for MY10).

Ya and I have averaged 21.64 mpcg over 6246 kilometers. Any kind of green levy sucks.

Ford 4x4, daily
$77k over the course of the loan. Do you feel you got a good deal?

With investment portfolios wavering so much these days I would have used a huge down payment if not paid in full. Agreeing to pay more than something is worth(interest) is not something I enjoy. That is unless I have a sure thing. I dont see one right now. Even Gold is still way off its high from the 80's(inflation adjusted).

Unbelievable... the gvt gave a 1000$ off in green tax becuz of .3L fuel saving. In my opinion, this tax makes no sense at all, they should just get rid of it.

Right: I have picked up the car (Its really emotional day and a dream). As a child I have been mad about Mercedes and I purchased my first Merc in 2001 - C240! 10 years to the month the next in my auto life has begun - C63!

Its amazing feeling driving this car. The number of comments, people love the red calipars and the colour - I have S4 following me along with M5's

Here are the numbers - I am paying $1336 CDN per month for the beast - Fully loaded P31/MPX etc with winter tires on.

Fuel milage on the first tank 455Km, Dear God - slow driving.

Rate 2.4 %

Thank you for your help on this board -

455km is exceptional for this car... was it highway driving all the way? I only get 320km in the city.

Term? 60 months?

Winter tires are overpriced unless they are on rims.

Car still has 14 liters reserve when the light comes on. Tank has a capacity of 66.0 Liters. How much did it take to fill it?

Not sure why you are paying so much. I have the same exact packages, without winter tires, and without the performance package, and i am paying $878 for 24 months. MSRP:70k. (2010)

I did however get the car in July during the dealer incentive time.

Enjoy though awesome car

Sorry if I sound personal but a lot information that you are providing is very subjective.

1) $4000 for your trade? Well, I am trading a 2009 Lambo Gallardo then $4000 might not be a good trade. You see what I mean?
2) No down payment?, No one in this world is obligated to a Down payment. I purchased a few new cars and motorcycle in the last 8 years and never had the obligation of the down payment

On the other hand the 2.4% financing is a good deal but I am 100000% certain that it is on a very short term financing (3 years or less) .

The $6995 is a good disccount. I have seen better deals(I got $12000 off myself).
