sending ECU out for tune....disconnect the battery?

Is it required to disconnect the battery? Or, ok to leave it connected? The instructions I got from Kleemann didn't say but its always good practice, of course.

next Q - is it under the floor in the trunk?

Yes disconnect the battery and it's under the hood pass side rite next to the windshield in Blk covered box with 3 clips.

one would hope the ignition was off if the battery was unplugged
