HOAT G-05 is OE specification.
It’s blended by Ashland (Valvoline) in the states under license to BASF, and then conveniently repackaged into MBUSA’s PN Q 1 03 0002 containers.
Experiencing any undue consumption, or simply topping up for normally occurring (minimal) evaporation?
Distilled water can be used in a pinch to extinguish a MFD “low coolant” warning without dropping below the preferred 45%/55% coolant-to-water mixture strength.
How cold does it get in your Los Angeles neighborhood?
G-05 is available at any local McParts.

Realistically, why would you want to buy more coolant? you can have the dealer top it off for little money. I recently had mine top it off and they charged me a dollar and change during my service A.
I wouldn't even **** around buying things that you don't need . Is your car leaking/droping a quart of coolant every week or so? I am just saying...
