The mainline is a great dyno, you simply need to complete the "after" test on the same dyno trying to keep as many factors the same as your first test as possible.
There is only one dynojet in Australia, so it is best to compare your results against Australian C63's on Australian dynos.
This forum is generally USA centric, so the experiences of consumers from the USA reflect the experiences on USA fuel and generally on inertia dynos.
I accept that some consumers are beginning to use dyno dynamics dynos, but generally they are just refered to as a "heartbreaker" which tries to easily describe that they measure power and torque completely differently.
Your results can't really be compared easily to dynojet or mustang dynos unfortunately
All that really matters is the "area between the curves" between stock and modded when conducted on the same dyno.

My previous car was dynoed on both Dyno Dynamics and Mainline with the same mods. It gave a considerably higher number on the Dyno Dynamics machine.
As others have stated it comes down to the way it drives rather than just a number.

Like a few have said. Don't even sweat about what numbers you're putting down. Just remember the number you started with and the number you end up with. Dyno numbers can vary because of all sorts of things. Just take it to the track and see how the car does

Won't be ready today... They had to post the ECU to James@BPS yesterday. I'm hoping that James popped the ECU in the mail today so I'll be able to pick the car up tomorrow.
Can't wait to get the car back!!! I'm missing listening to that beautiful sound every morning...

Well, i will be going into james in the new year for some more ecu testing. Doing some slight changes (nothing to do with bps, something i want to do) and we will be doing back to back testing. If all goes well, id recommend you to send your ecu back to him in the new year for a re-flash, just watch my posts.
Good luck with your car, youl love it.

How hard is it to pull the ECU?

Well, ive had the same tune from before i had my exhaust. And i havent noticed any issues at all. As has been mentioned, these ecus adapt very well to mods once tuned. Ecu is very easy to pull out.

The ecu is very easy to remove and install.
We have found that like 90% of tuners, that different air fuel mapping is needed with headers, we believe that the ECU can nor adapt for headers.
You can ask BPS what similarities their tune has to the TechTec tune

I dont know what software james uses but i can tell you, the mapping is his (as in the tune, its definately 110% not off the shelf). Ive sat with him for hours as he has gone through the maps and adjusted alot of things (fuel, torque, ign, mass air flow, etc). But what you say is true, different air fuel mapping is needed. And i believe james has several tunes available, depending on your mods.

Please dyno and post gains after additions and this will give you a indication of improvements and/or if your orginal dyno was truly accurate or flawed with some respects. I know you posted the conditions of the dyno which prove to be considerably ideal but the C63 is within 5-16 Hp difference of one another usually, not by over 20 or in the range of 25. I would not worry as others have mentioned because factors such as gear dyno'd in may result in miniscule differences.

2009 C63 with Eurocharged tune and charcoal delete
In my experience dyno numbers are just about totally useless and totally unscientific. You might as well go to a Psychic healer. There are so many variables that affect the results, and the numbers can be so easily manipulated by the operator, that you can't even get repeatable numbers on the same day in the same place. Throw in different brands of dynos in different locations and you have totally unscientific results. I will never pay for another dyno run again. Just go by how the car drives and your results at the track and forget all the dyno BS. It's a sucker's bet.

OK, got the car back....
WOW!!!!! Damn you can feel the difference, it's a completely different animal now!!!
The best stock run was 348HP, with the cargraphic exhaust and ECU tune I'm now getting 430HP at the rears. If my maths is correct, that's 23.5% more power????
That's insane!!!
I'm uploading the dyno results and exhaust runs to youtube now.
