I just have a Full RPI GT exhaust RPI says Expect a 10-17whp gain and 50lbs in weight savings. And i have the RPI ram air kit RPI says expect a 16-22whp gain with 70mph airflow. That is all my performance mods. So i am worked? i thought worked was software

16-22whp with 70mph airflow. So faster the speeds you get more power. You started to come 125 so your seeing 40ish whp right there.

LOL that is just what RPI claims to sell a product probably . Ive never dyno my car before but i will friday or saturday . Most stock m6 baseline whp is around 410-420

The dyno wont show these type of gains anyway, since you wont be able to simulate same airflow. I think RPI air scoops work. I think it will work like ram air, forcing more air into the intake as speed builds up, that in turn should cause more fuel to be dumped as well to maintain the AFR -- more fuel, more air -- more power. But you wont be able test that on a dyno.

Interesting so how did RPI come up with those numbers?

Who knows, but in principle it should make power, and most likely more power with less restrictive exhaust.

Could be true on my E60 M5 i had the rpi ram air kit. I notice some gains but i did not have a full RPI exhaust i had Meisterchaft. On the M6 the scoops are much bigger dont know if that matters but i feel much more power than i did in my M5 maybe its the whole RPI combo There exhaust and scoops

Most likely is the reason, one helps the other.

What you should really do is take it to the dragstrip.

I don't want to be a buzz kill, but damn I don't want you guys to be on the "stupidest criminals" shows for videoing your "crime"

I know that in my business if a person is videotaped doing illegal asbestos or lead work it holds up and you can get fined the same as if the EPA is standing right there.
Well, you can't really conclude from the video how fast they were going. So unless they come forward and confess there should be no problem. IMO.

Wow,its amazing how jon just cant let it go..unbelievable really..and playing himself out for all to see no less. Honestly, whats the big *** deal? It'd be different if this "race" was for $10k...then,maybe then,we could all understand the nonsense&sniveling..But it wasnt,so what gives?

Propain, your sig is hands down the most iconic sig on this website...ProjectC55 will be very proud Im sure!!!!

Exaclty, take em to the track!!! Dynos are only good to measure gains. IMHO WHP vary on different dynos.

I hear what you're saying, but they have written on here multiple times the speeds they were running and regardless of exactly how fast the odometer says, at full throttle with multiple gear shifts, you don't have to be a genius to conclude they're traveling above and beyond "reckless" speed limits (120mph or 140mph you're still going to jail).

You can live in fantasy land and pretend there isn't enough evidence, but you'll have a tough time convincing a judge
Anyway, I'm sure they'll be fine, but just be careful with what is posted, that's all I'm saying--the gov't has nothing better to do right now

for the record, if that bridge was near me, you can bet I'd frequent it as well (just no video)--maybe I'm just a tad jealous and a lot paranoid!
