The Z4M just went out since the newer Z4 went on sale. So for now, its the M3. But BMW just debuted their 1 Series M, so expect that to fall under the 3er. Its got the 135's 3.0 I6TT. Does the 1/4 in 13.2, temp boost allows for a max of 369 ft lb of torque. I would expect to see some insane numbers tuned.

C63
I would have bought a new style e63 >2010 if the funds were available. I do like the c and it will do the job for now.

"+63"

Now that the question has been changed to include men with modest means, such as myself, I would say that I really may have purchased the E63 or SL63 because the engines come full strength from the factory.

But, I would buy the C63 again because of the weight factor. I'm on a quest to drop weight, so its nice to have started off with the lightest AMG.

As a owner of the both the C63 and E63, the C63 is much more aggressive in performance and design, as where the the E63 is more of a luxury cruiser. Don't get me wrong, the E63 will haul a** when you want it. But it's a soft compliant ride, that's what is was designed to do. I like the luxury of my E but the brash brutal-ness of the C.

C63 507 AMG DA Car #19
I would say entry level amg would be any used AMG under 20K... and there are plenty out there due to the severe depreciation..... wife drives the C63 w/PP, and I drive the CLK55 which I got for a tad over 20K...... and now it's getting modified to my liking.

We got the C63 because it was the closest we could get to the DTM looks/performance of a clk63bs for the price. Someday a DTM will be in my possession.

Also for the enthusiast the C63 offers the best performance/$$ compared to any other amg offered today (new). Longtubes and tune and you have a real monster.

W203 C55 and SAAB 9-3 2.0T
If I was in the market for a brand new AMG I would go for the C63 because of the fun to drive factor. However, if MB would make an E65 AMG and I was very well off, that would be my fam car and a 997 S would be my fun car because I wouldn't want to own two turbo Germans, even with a ton of money...

agreed. I actually went in to buy a C63 but none were available. Besides, after sitting in a C Class, I realized I wanted a little more room than the STI I was trading in (the C Class is about the same on space).

If you're looking for a larger sedan in the mb lineup, I'd go for E class, if you can shell out double the price, go for the E63 My .02

No, I'm good where I am. Weight of the C class with a little more room and E-Class interior and powertrain Now, if there was an E63 Coupe....I'd be on it like white on rice
