COMAND CONROLER KNOB SEMI-DEAD
hey guys,
About a week ago my comand controler knob stopped functioning properly. What I mean to say is that it still works, but without its rotating function.
For example, in navigation, I can't zoom in/out on the map. Same goes for anything that requires rotating the knob such as radio stations, spelling names... etc
Please guys.... any help would be appreciated!!

Mine did the exact same thing about a couple weeks ago--after I shut it off and restarted it was all set.
Software glitch because it scrolled on the main menu to chose navi, audio, etc.
But once inside that menu it wouldn't scroll through names, etc.
At first I thought the knob itself was busted, but since it worked properly in some screens, I knew it was just a glitch.
After restart it was fine.
My car is a 2011 so it must be a bug still in e software.
If it continues bring it in--my car is stored, so I won't know if it comes back until springtime.

Problem is my warranty is over! And the MB Dealer here is a rip off ( service A for $7xx )
It is a relief to know its just a software glitch!! But I tried to restart, reset and all sorts of things. But to no avail
Will keep trying though

You should consider an extended waranty for this car IMO, I wouldn't drive an AMG out of warranty--that's just me!
