Obviously you shouldn't go fast at all considering that its a spare, but its just impossible to not go fast in this car. I'm on the highway trying my best to stay under 60, but once I have my eye off the speedo and look back a second later its already up to 74
On the spares it says not to go past 50 mph but is this really an accurate number or is it just an incredibly low number to keep from AMG drivers from speeding?
Also how long should you stay on spares?

I think it's more of a traction issue rather than speeding due to its size. The tire sure can handle 50+ mph function wise, however, handling sure will suffer using the spare so be careful.

MB says to replace the spare wheel with a regular road wheel as soon as possible.
No maximum distance implied or specified. The wheel and tire are for "Temporary Use" only.
Common sense says only drive on the spare long enough to get to safety.
Practicality says....your on your own!

Ask yourself this, do you want the temporary tire blowing out on you at 74 mph? I will take that as a NO, then why do you want to go that fast with a spare tire anyway. What does Temporary imply? it's made to get you to a point where your original tire can be repaired or replaced. As for me, I'm not speeding on a donut tire.
