No doubt and thanks. It sucks not getting passes in to let things adapt.
This run had a little hiccup during the last shift that cost me time/MPH up top. My 1/8th-mile ET and MPH is a good indicator of the potential.

Congrats again,
I have had the transmission adaptations bounce hard off of the limiter untill a couple of hard pulls are done. Especially after making changes to have more power. The shifts are too slow. I was telling Wayne that new cars on a PDI will sometimes almost shut down during a shift.

CONGRATS Wayne!!
Bummer that you got kicked out after only one run!! You'll have to find a rental and then go run so you don't have to have all the same equipment. Good luck and I know you'll get even faster!!!!!
I know someone with a great wheel package for sale that will make you even faster.

New Personal Best for yours truly. I got a single run at Pacific Raceways before getting kicked out for not having the proper safety equipment for a 11.49.
06: 11.496 @ 120.27 MPH (1.733 60') - superlubricity, 2010 C63 (Pacific Raceways, WA USA) - Timeslip
Mods: MHP V3 Tune (93 Octane), MHP Headers, evosport Pulley, evosport Rotors, 18" Nitto DRs, CF Hood
Really annoying that the Track Director booted me after one pass--usually you get a warning and you can run one more time.
Not only would my car have gotten faster throughout the day (which it always does after a few passes) I left some weight savings on the table. I was running full interior including the passenger seat. Funny thing is I wanted to remove the seat this morning but didn't have the right torx socket for the seat belt bolt. I also couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get the rear seat cushion/bottom out of the car. The front side lifted up but it was still latched on in the back.

Thanks.
Thanks, Keith! They are just as strict during rentals.
I believe my quote in our last email conversation was, "I'd love to get a 11.49 out of it before retiring."
Well, I'm officially retiring her.

One run only? Wow! they are strict.
At least you made a run. I went to Atco Friday night and after 3+ hours
of traffic, 2 hours in the staging lanes and a bad accident, I did not make
a run.

point is....sometimes you just hook her up good and rip off a good one. non professional drag racers times can very greatly from run to run.
cheers
edit: please dont flame me for not having proof of this.....i know some people in here are very sensitive about their quarter mile times. just telling a story that gives me a laugh every time i see the guy.

Seen it before for sure
I forgot about this until I just read your posts. There is a guy in Dallas that has a C63 with a eurocharged tune and the kleemann manifold set up that couldnt break 12.00 on any run he had ever done up to the last time i spoke to him. His wife jumps in for a try and runs a 11.5 on street tires i know he lurks this forum but i dont think he has ever posted. next time i see him ill ask him if he saved the time slip.

Can you please change my best time? Here's the slip.
I didn't ask you to change it before because I thought we would be able to get back out there and better the time. Sadly enough we have not been back out since April when we made this run. I don't think we'll back out until the first of the year. The mods are the same. Thank you!
