I would agree with you on that. I am over here in Germany and the European models always seem to come out several months prior to the U.S. spec. I cant wait to start seeing them in the German showroom, I am guessing as early as March maybe.

Ordering mine tomorrow. Its gonna work as a demo for mercedes in finland a couple of months and then i buy it from them. I get to chose all the specs and options myself so doesnt really matter to me if its slightly used.

And i believe the c sedan and estate will keep having our beloved 6.2 l engine. The poor coupe gets the tamed down 5.5 but thats common knowledge by now. I think it eill get the 157 in the brand new c-class in a couple of years

How much saving are you getting from this demo deal? I would be hesitant to buy a car that customers have test drove to the limits... unless the rebate is amazing.

Hi, well i am not sure about the rebate but i would think it goes around 15-20 % off retail. Thing is that i know mercedes in Finland are VERY picky about who they let drive the cars. As the cars are a lot more expensive here than in for instance the States, there are very few who are actually able to go through with the purchase. It's gonna get about 4-5k miles on it (and 1500 are gonna be mine 
).
All my previous AMG's have been demo's as well and i've never had any problems. Also we have a service contract, i think it's called MBrace over there? Still, for a monthly fee it covers EVERYTHING except tire wear.
Now i however am confused...did not really consider the new E-class but during this winter i have come to realize that the airmatic is a good option as i can heighten the car quite significantly. I realized it yesterday when i was sitting in a c-class taxi which scraped the bottom on snow all the time...
Still think it's gonna be the C63 but i'll make the decision tomorrow :P
Another thing i don't know about is the colour. I'd actually like a designo matte black no matter which model i chose. However paying 8000 € for paint seems kinda steep...
