Isn't the purpose of a forum like this to discuss the good AND the bad of the automotive enthusiast community ????
If everyone just posted their positive experiences and kept their negative experiences with vendors to themselves....they would be doing the community at large a HUGE disservice.
If the sponsor in question IS in fact selling junk, it would be to the benefit of the entire community for you to name the company and let them explain themselves - of course in the most professional way possible. You seem restrained which is a good thing....but calling out a sponsor and doing it in the RIGHT WAY, will not get you banned. Keep it clean and most importantly HONEST, and I don't see how that can get you into trouble with the powers that be.

You should be ok because "J......D" advertises "Great Quality" and "Guarantee Quality."
Seriously, I would try to work it out with him first via email or PM so you can save your conversations. Give him the benefit of doubt first. And if you feel you have been wronged, then give the benefit to the community by letting us know where he/they failed you. I've learned not to expect great fitment with cloth/resin products (CF/FRP).

Sorry about your bad luck Dr.Q... I remember PMing you about my fitment issue, but I didn't think it would turn out that bad for you. Mine is not that noticeable, but I still brought it up to the community back in the days with the name of the company. You shouldn't be afraid to give your reviews on any CF products or mentioning the company.
In summary, buying CF made in China is a question of good/bad luck. Some says the fitment is great, some says it doesn't fit at all. Mine was only 75% to my liking.

So wait, were only allowed to say nice things about "sponsors"? So a few contributing dollars to the site prevents consumers from educating other consumers? That's the number 1 reason I visit a forum to begin with.

No - you can say whatever you want as long as it doesn't violate the TOS and providing you do it in an honest and respectful manner. Letting your fellow members know about a bad product is what we are all here for. Airing your dirty laundry is another....I think you should call, email or PM the vendor and see if he makes it right by either replacing the parts with ones to your liking, or refunds you 100% of your money. If neither one of those happen and you are still unhappy, then make it public. END OF STORY.
