I wonder if the two tone seats will be available for the US market or if its part of a Designo package done in Europe?

I still think it's a ****ty move from MB to makes us all feel like we're driving previous models of the W204. Believe me I like the changes, but IMO they are too extensive.
I would be furious if I bought my C63 now and in 3 months got overtaken by ^ this on the street !

The E9x M3 has been out since 2008 as well and even though the E9x got an LCI the only thing the M3 got was the rear tails and iDrive. So you really want to have a 2013 M3 that's almost EXACTLY the same as the 2008? I like MB's strategy better--you know they'll address the issues with the first iteration and make the face-lift better.

It looks great, good job MB. Hood on the previous C63 always looked a little "pep-boys" to me. This is a fair bit classier but still has an aggressive edge.

Come on man, MB has done this through the years. Remember the C32 -> C55, that was drastic. As well as the CL55 to the CL55 Kompressor and so on. It's not a surprise and I think it's good for competition.

IMO they should have waited with the completely new front and the new interior. I have my C since 2008 so I know it's not a new car but the people who bought their C63 in the last month or so wont appreaciate MB's strategy.
C32 -> C55 they basically changed the engine, gave it bixenon headlights, and a new navigation system.

Oh and I'm sure the people who bought the C63 in the past month won't appreciate it, but they were warned, all of us (or at least who are familiar with how MB releases models over the years) knew that this was imminent. Yet, they still bought their cars.

I think all of us from 2008-2012 were just beta testing for what should have been released, plus the addition of hood power domes for crying out loud, in 2008.
The pattern for car changes is every 4-5 years anyway, except maybe Porsche that hold on to classic styling longer...

The C32 already had the option for bi-xenon lights. The C55 had an entirely new front end from the CLK, the all new interior, the 5.5L engine, etc. That's more significant than getting a new hood, grill, updated interior and updated tranny. The people that were the most screwed over were the S55 and CL55 pre-Kompressor models.

All of us haha you mean the forum-freaks.
I think the others who "have a life" don't get their info as quickly as we do here.

I am kinda pissed off. I bought my car 3 months ago. I thought MB wouldn't release a dual clutch for the C63. I thought only the exterior and interior changes and keep the 6.3. But what the hell, now with MCT?

the others who just bought it should have done more proper research

I just got the mod "bug" but now I might just hold off and wait for this beast. No sense in upgrading to CF interior and other cosmetic mods if I'm just going to sell it.
Since they are not changing wheel specs, I assume any wheels I get for my current 09 would fit on the '12, no? So I might satisfy my craving with some new HRE's and the move them to the 2012 early next year.

Bah humbug, I'm satisfied with my purchase. Don't really care if they put new engine, I love the sound of my Red Queen. Only let down would be transmission, but I won't be tracking my car. Do not like new facelift. I'll stick to my pop out screen and my 'condom' power dome. Makes me feel manly. My .02

2012 Facelifted Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Sedan Revealed

On the outside, the C63 gets a set of SL-inspired headlamps with ornate light-piping and LED DRLs mounted in the revised fascia. LEDs make their way to the tail lamps, while redesigned 18-inch wheels fill the wheel wells and frame upgraded brakes.
AMG opted to retain the 6.2-liter V8 instead of fitting its new 5.5-liter biturbo mill, so output remains at 451 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. The Development Package will reportedly stick around for 2012, raising output to 481 hp and nixing the 155 mph limiter to allow the C63 to top out at 174 mph. The sports package also includes a few interior tweaks, a carbon fiber trunk spoiler and red calipers that clamp onto 14.2-inch front discs.
However, the biggest change comes in the form of a new transmission. The C63 now sends power to a seven-speed Speedshift MCT auto 'box which swaps out the conventional torque converter for a high-performance clutch pack said to deliver smoother, more immediate shifts.

2010 C63 AMG
Looks pretty sick, not as different from our models as I thought it was going to be. Not too big a fan of the new head lights, or the led fog lights...wonder why they did that anyway, looks kinda tacky in my opinion. I think they lost alot of the aggressiveness with this one. Im sure it will grow on me but I still like the original better. One thing they definitely goofed on was the wide rear fenders! THANK GOD!

Love it. Except the loss of the power-bulges on the hood - I love looking down them.
I especially like the look of the new Estate which just makes me angry (because they won't sell it in the US).
I'm going to continue to drive the bejeezus out of my '10 and then buy one of the last 6.2 based W204 C63s off the line sometime in 2013...

I don't think the front looks as aggressive. Look at the side gills, just one now reduced from two. I like the single front chrome bar and star, but I don't think it looks as aggressive when its shorter lengthwise, but more aggresive in a longer wheel base. Also, they got rid of the side amber light. If we all darkened the middle portion of the bottom bumber, I think our cars would look far more aggressive than the new look.
They also got rid of a headlight bulb? That additional bulb and bigger housing widens our front which IMO makes ours look beefier.
Don't get me wrong, I really still like it, but I am not losing sleep over it. The interior will definitely have me cheating on my 2010 by fantasting about it though!!
