Team EVL C63 by CEC Miami
I saw that C63 at CEC Miami last month. The interior was completely stripped as they were doing all kinds of upgrades to it. Absolutely beautiful machine. And yes it really does have a smoke screen, lol.
UPDATE
Hello all,
Just wanted to post some progress pictures..
1. Dash area is built including: Cluster, steering column, steering wheel, a/c, glove box.
2. Custom fit and powered scanner in glove box. relocated ipod and added secondary 12 volt outlet.
3. Built center console: shifter knob, shift boot, center arm rest, a/c.
4. Custom fit and powered private band radio and switches to arm nitrous, nitrous purge, smoke screen, and auxiliary fuel.
5. Full headliner including a, b, c pillars, and rear shelf replaced (blk alcantara).
6. Nitrous set up installed and ready for tuning.
7. Covered the roof in gloss blk printed vinyl.
All components were added with the idea of keeping them out of sight by the crew at CEC Miami. Even the display for the Escort 9500ci was fitted inside the mirror to keep things stealth (look at the bottom right corner of mirror pictured).

...this is a Bullrun car after all.
Smoke Screen
The smoke screen has no point per se. A very jovial diversionary gadget for fellow Bullrunners on the rally. However, with the new NOS system this year it might just be an implied middle finger.
I trust that the upgraded version has denser smoke...yes?

While I find the smoke screen amusing.. it is rather dangerous.. that said.. general rule of thumb... if your doing something illegal.. don't post it to the internet... never put evidence of stupidity, illegalness or other shenanigans on the internet people...
Otherwise.. I want that damn interior for my cheesy plasticised 63...

...like the rally, these vehicles and gadgets are intended to add an element of fun and excitement to ones life. The video posted depicts a test run of the system for the purpose of a video. No animals, people, cars, feelings or anything else were hurt during the use of this gadget.

BTW, illegalness, not a word.
Now can we please get back on topic.....

Pretty amazing work. Amazing abilities to tear a car down and rebuild it. Looks great and much attention to detail. Too much suede for me though, like I'm driving in a huge moccasin...
jvanbrecht has a valid point. Nevertheless, such a view is relative. Use of a device such as a smoke screen, in my opinion, is no more dangerous than someone speeding down a busy highway in a 3000+lb. car. Or a group of individuals doing the same in tandem. Or texting while driving. It all comes down to the user and his/her level of responsibility.
Needless to say, the element of danger and "illegalness" is one of the main attractions of the event for which this car and its gadgets were conceived.
As for posting "evidence of stupidity, illegalness or other shenanigans on the internet," we will relate to the Bullrun Rally organizers and all of its sponsors that they should not do any filming this year.
For those of you interested in a non-incriminating glimpse of one of the finest adventures around please follow the EVL-AMG C63 on this year's Bullrun Rally at www.cecwheels.com and/or the soon to be uploaded www.evltuning.com.
