Question should I fit 275 on my rear tire?

Hey Guys,

My rear tires are gone and I am thinking to fit 275 in the stock 18". What are the pros and cons if I go with 275? I don't want to upgrade to 19". I find the ride too harsh for Taiwan's road condition. Sometimes when I drive harder I loose grip and my traction control light comes on. I had the continental P5 or something.

275's fit nice. Tuck no problem with Hanooks. Straight line runs improved dramatically. Handling fell off a bit due to a softer sidewall on the brand of tire I picked. Little more roll in the rear on corners.

Overall the C63 needs 275's or 265's on the back. They also improve the look of the car!

Which brand did you end up getting? How is the handling compare with 255? You get more grip and do you feel the car is hauling or It is just all better?!?

Continental DW's (not DWS). I just had them put on last Saturday so I really haven't had time to put it through it's paces. Traction on straight line acceleration is slightly better. Some of the advantage of wider rubber than the stock Pirelli's is wiped away with the harder compound of the DW's. I really don't care to have to get new rears every 4k.
