I'm looking at a used 2010, with every option.
Does my2010 have the 30 extra HP or was that only introduced in 2011?
I did a quick search but didnt turn up anything

P30 has everything p31 has and it might have stiffer suspension. I'm sure it has LSD. P31 does not have LSD, it is a separate option. I hope this helps.

Sorry I should have specified, It is a Canadian car. I know for 2011 the LSD is included in the perf. pkg. but not sure about in 2010.
So if i read correctly, 2010 also had the 30hp bump?

Model year 2010 C63 was split around Dec 2009. P30 up to Dec production and P31 development package after. Not sure of the exact dates. The P30 did not have the upgraded internals from the SLS or the extra 30 HP. In 2010 the LSD was a separate option for P31 and the car may or may not have it. The P30 had a slightly lower and stiffer suspension. I think they both have the top speed increase to 174 mph.

In Canada, the P30 and P31 packages have been wrapped into the different "Performance Packages". For example, on my 2011, I bought the "Petformance Package Plus" for $7800 which includes 30 extra HP and LSD, among other things. Seeing as he's buying a Canadian 2010 with performance package, I would GUESS it has the HP gain, but I would confirm with a dealership first.

Yes the P30 has the stiffer suspension-almost brutal. But the extra 30hp is nothing when you could get a tune and gain 50whp+.

Jon. I know u check the forums often, so you should know that the 30hp rating is highly underrated from the factory. A tuned c63 = P31 package. Everyone knows that and I know u do too.

I have a 2010 with P30. No 30+ bump. I went another way for an extra 50+hp.

2010 P31 began production in early December 2009.

Maybe just a little. I remember a post of a member from England who spent big $$$ on a Brabus tune just to get ~ 5 hp on his P31. He requested and got a refund from Brabus.

Yes, I have a 2010 P31 Canadian car and it has a rated 30 HP increase from the factory as part of the performance package. If it has the P30 package it does not have the extra 30 HP but does have a LSD as part of the package. The P31 does not have a LSD as part of the package but it was available as a stand alone option which I have on my car. The P31 option cost $6000 and the 471 LSD option cost $2400 for $8400 in total for both options.

So It sounds like it depends on the manf. date?
Is there any other give aways? I know the 2011 comes with the cf spoiler with P31. the one im looking at has a body color spoiler. It has the swede steering wheel, cf interior. I cant talk to anyone at the dealership untill tomorrow.

Red Calipers (6 piston) = P31

Silver Calipers (6 piston) = P30

Both - Unless it is painted it should have a CF rear lid spoiler.

Both - Steering wheel should have a flat bottom with Alcantara side grips.

P31 will have exclusive intake runners in titanium grey finish (slightly darker than the air filter box tops).

There is a member here with the p31 c63 which ran 12.5@115ish. Yeah that extra 30hp runs like my stock C63.

As far as I know the answer is NO, because P31 removed the suspension upgrade, which was included in P30, in order to give the car a better ride.

I agree with Sheep. The P31 suspension is the same as stock C63. No suspension upgrades included in the P31 package just upgraded front calipers (painted red) and lighter compound front rotors.

P30 does not have the CF trunk spoiler.

just checked mbusa website too doesnt say anything about suspension in the package. Thank you. So it was in the P30 but people found it way too stiff, so they removed it?

Yes. People complained about the stiffness in the P30 suspension so much, it was removed in the p31 package.

I was little sad to see the AMG suspension was gone from the P31 too, however, this is not a great lost as we can always get ourselves some KW v3 coil overs. I remember one of us here actually got the guy from AMG and went to the ring to tune his KW v3 and posted the settings!!
