can you tell us why is one sensor thats burning up instead of both, and my datelogging equipment is showing my right is fried but no CEL came on yet? could that be bc im tuned for cats off.

Spark plug Anti-Foulers with a hole drilled into it to bypass. but you would have to clean it yearly or so..
not bad for $8

Mthis: Please send me a link too. I have a stripped one (some of the threads stripped when removing it) that only has 2 threads left and is barely holding on.

I just replaced mine too upstream o2 sensor on exhaust. I've done 40000kms
just make sure you reset the ecu after you change the sensor

Well, my experience was the following. Prior to getting a CEL and replacing the o2 sensor, the car was hammering. Even with the CEL on. When i got the sensor changed and cleared codes at dealership the car felt slow and sluggish. Didnt feel the same at all. I reset the ecu (disconnected battery for about 20min) took it out for a drive, and what a difference.
It clears the adaptives, and it needs to relearn fuel trims.
I also have never used race fuel. Just pump fuel.

Oh ok, thanks for the clarification.
Do you think I can reset my ECU even if I have a tune?
Meaning If I disconnect the battery for 20 minutes and reconnect it will my tune be erased and go back to stock? Or will my tune relearn itself?

Did you give anytime for the tune to adapt?

I just use normal pump fuel, our 98 is your 93 I believe. Since I've bought my car I've always had o2 sensor issues. And like you mthis, I get fault codes but no engine light. And only 1 sensor always plays up. I will buy the ones in the link you sent me and see how it goes. Lucky I have the hand held obdII hand controller to delete the codes.

Thought id revive this thread as I want to give MS109 another go.
Just wanted to ask some of you gurus, how many gallons of MS109 do you guys mix with regular pump gas? Have you guys had any issue with your O2 sensors giving out because of this?
TIA

F that VP junk. Get some Shell racing fuel. 105 oct or 110. Its a way more consistent fuel. Do some reading.

NO oxygenated and no lead. Pure gasoline and it smells like raspberries when it burns.... maybe i been sniffing too much of the fumes...

I ran about 200litres of it already and no problems.

Also, never order O2 sensors from the dealer they are almost double of the net.

Try shooting for 94-95 octane. The ECU can adapt up some...

I found this octane calculator:

http://www.bazellracefuels.com/Calcs/OC1.htm

Edit: I've never used MS109... only Sunoco 100 in the blue canister

Where do you buy it?
Did you mix with pump gas or do you use straight up race fuel?
I know non oxygenated fuel runs richer due to no ethanol additives, but is there any other benefits in running non oxygenated?

That's what I was shooting for.
That's a great site man, thanks for the link. Have you had any problems with Sunoco 100 octane? Did you mix with pump gas? If so, how much?

I run it straight.

It doesn't run richer. It burns at the same rate as normal gasoline.

Non oxygenated burn at more BTUs i believe.
