I think people at the dyno day had not heard a c63 at full throttle from ten feet away! It was a surprise for me too! Jerry said the tune gives you a more aggesive sound also. I have to agree

Thanks for all the positive responses!!
The tune definately changes the exhaust note!

oh and btw....made a phone call and got this for the guy asking (toronto results)...I used our logo to cover the customer info...

That can't be right. I'm 180, plus a full tank and my car weighed 4220. So this guy weighs 700 lbs??? This is one reason I never went back to that mustang dyno.

Hahaha busted! I remember years ago a friend showing me how much changing the cars weight on his shops MD manipulated the end results.

OP take your car to the track and see just how fast it is. Dyno #'s are boring and can be manipulated a 1000 different ways (see above for reference) However you can't deny real life results from the strip.

What is with the giant 25HP spike from 6800-7000 RPM? Doesn't that seem a little odd to you?

Busted? Agreed that dynos are boring, and its about the numbers. But, also you notice that nothing was changed with the dyno setup, so its the deltas that count. (stock was same conditions as tuned) Its not like we were going for a highest HP number in one shot.

ya, does seem high. Its not our dyno, and we used a local shop.

We were having major wheel slipping issues on the dyno with various cars. It was snowing pretty good out when cars were rolling on the dyno. They were shooting slush off the tires like mad on all the runs.

But these unplanned variables lead to bad data and inaccurate spikes.

lol agreed. But remember you are looking at one point in time. All the cars were run many times to make sure all was well.

Did all of the runs have that anomalous spike up top?

I'm guessing "no" and the run featured (with the highest peak number) was used to show the gains. Not quite an accurate story.

I'm salivating for a custom tune, especially after seeing some
of these numbers your posting.

nope, not all of them did. And like I said before your looking at just one of the graphs from that car on that day. The shop was nice enough to scan one and send it to me as its not our shop, nor are we affiliated with it. We ran the cars numerous times, and had similar results with 2 63's like we said. Its not exactly the first time we have seen numbers like this...nor did we open a post saying look what we guarantee did we? Our advertised results are not 70 hp. Never have been. We typically see high 50's to mid 60's. It was just nice to see on a few cars. We all know that these cars are all different...

With the extra Eurocharged power, it's actually very close!! I am very comfortable with the Vipers 6 spd and not very good at the C63 paddle shifter, so it's hard to compare from that perspective. I think that it would be very close in a straight line race!!
