I love the red C63s, but I think the cops just wouldn't leave me alone the way I like to drive and I'm not even Black, go figure (just a little racial joke and sadly true around here)
Ain't that the truth. Almost at 300 miles and already started hitting 5k rpm in manual. I couldn't help it. the 3k-5k range sounds like a heavenly choir. Downshifting manual is nasty lol. Engine brake downshifting is even nastier. So far no po po on my tail. Heads do turn when I'm at red lights. I don't even look back, smile, and stomp it when it hits green.

Unfortuantely, MB does very little wrapping from the factories and much of the body is exposed to the elements along the journey.

Fortunately for me, my cars have never need to go on a train. Port Elizabeth or Port Newark is just across the river from me.

It might be very little wrapping, but all new car has a wrapper on the hood, trunk and top of the car. I guess it's better safe than sorry. I've run my hand across my car and there are very little debris embedded in on my clearcoat.

That's what my wife says to me. She has a heavy foot, heavier than mine.

our cars travel on a train in Germany from the factory to port at Bremerhaven.
That's the train ride I was talking about--most of the vehicles are transported by truck once in the US.

I'm not making this $h!t up, I promise

BTW your car picked up more debris from the air in NJ than it did on the rest of the trip--just bustin' bro, a little NJ humor for ya
I better quit now before I make more 'friends'

LOL...No worries. The NY/NJ air we got here is pretty filthy. I can go max 1 week before I have to dust or wash the car again.

I thought that train ride was on a enclosed train ride.
