Either way - your car looks gorgeous and is one of the cleanest I've seen, painted calibers or not.

This is exactly the pic which haunted me for months - amazing color combo. The next day I found it on MBWorld I sent my wheels to the shop to bake them gloss black

6 months is a long wait. That sucks.

Thanks a lot. I actually did everything step by step and liked the car more and more each time I changed something. IMO there is no point in leaving your car at the shop to do all the mods at once. The blackout theme is really amazing but my next car is probably going to be steel grey or black but wrapped in matte steel grey vinyl.

It makes it only worse, believe me. You will start ordering mods and parts for your car before you pick it up

hahahaha! You know exactly what is going through my mind.
Good to know I'm not totally insane.

I almost ordered wheels yesterday, then I realized I still have an extra set of wheels from the car I currently have in my garage.
Not to mention the 6 months I would be polishing the wheels everyday for a car I don't even have yet!

You are right.. it does make it worse.
But it makes it worse in a good, crazy making sort of way.

Do you have pics of your S5? Is it modded?
BTW is there a good Audi forum where you can see some hot A5 and S5? I've searched on google but couldn't find anything interesting.

A friend of mine had the V8 S5 on black 20" RS4 style wheels + CF accents. He let a girl drive cuz he was drunk and it ended pretty badly I loved that car.

Oh man, that is a brutal thing to see.
My g/f has only driven my car once in almost 3 years...

My S5 looks very similar, but it's sitting on Hartmann HS5 209 20" - 275 PS2's all around. It's AWD and the handling is amazing, but it feels slow after playing around in a C63.

The 20"s are a little much - I'm looking forward to the 19"s going on the C63.

Black on black, 2009 so it's still a V8.

The sound is intoxicating, here is the exhaust setup I have on it:
AWE exhaust with black tips. (not my car, but identical sound)

I'm really going to miss the sound of this car, but I think I will get used to the amazing sound the C63 makes.

A great S5 forum is: http://www.a5oc.com/forums/s5-performance-mods/

I don't have any non cell phone pictures of my 2009 S5, but here are some of my 2007 S4 Avant which I think you can appreciate.

It was heavily modified and tuned and I wish I had kept it! So much fun smoking M3's in a station wagon.

20" are too much for the C. 19" is the perfect size.

That AWE exhaust is amazing. The stock S5 sound is really weak IMO and too subtle. But this is hot. Before my friend's S5 got trashed, he was meaning to get the Cargraphic exhaust.

Your S4 looks great. I was never an Audi fan (except for the RS4) but the mods you have change the car completely. What hp did the S4 have at the crank?

Thanks Matt - it had about 400HP at the crank.

Not bad that's quite an improvement over the stock 344hp.

Took the car to a local closed airstrip.

S204 T-Modell C230 AMG Pack
Hi, I love you car, definitely!!! Could you advise where you bought rear carbon defuser? Thinking of 4 instead of 2 pipes exhaust, so need new one, I think it is the same for C63 and ordinary estate with AMG pack?

How quickly did you take it back and wash it after driving it through that dirt?

A perfect evil looking backdrop for that car.

AMG GLC63. Audi R8
So how do you like the springs. Were you able to get decent street alignment specs with it lowered. Were any other mods needed.

It's still dirty. I'll probably wash it on Thursday cuz I'm taking it to the track on Saturday.

I bought a polarizing filter today (I'm a total amateur at photography) and I'll take some better quality pics next week or so in the same spot

The springs are perfect. I'm extremely happy with the way the car looks now and considering I paid for them 240EUR + 200EUR for the install with allignment it was definitely worth it. I don't track my car too often so coilovers were a waste of money for me. I'll see on Saturday how the car handles on the track.
