wider tires on OEM 18" wheels

I went through the OEM Pirellis on my '10 in 10k with 1 awesome track day. The car is a DD but will see 4-5 track days a season. What is the largest tires front and rear that will safely fit the OEM 18" wheels without any rubbing at the extremes of suspension and steering travel? Thanks for any help.

I just put on Cont DW's - 255/40/18 front and 275/35/18 Rear
Fit fine with no rubbing. Stock suspension

Wouldn't think you could put 255 fronts, wow. What a stance! 255F and 275R are probably max sizes for stock suspension, correct? I need to see pics please. I want to get wider tires. Was thinking of 240/265...

The car understeers like a train in stock form then oversteers wildly if you get crazy on the gas during exit. I don't think 255's are the way to go up front but 275's on the rear are a huge plus.
