Yup, Why is that? E90 M3 seems not bad. It is practical as a C63 and has better handling, much much better tranny over the 7gear. The gay thing is. We are getting a major facelift. For straight line and everything of course the C63 smokes lots of cars around us. Sounds lovely as well. We well see.

Really?? For a Newb with an opinion you're pretty brazen. The only thing I got wrong was replying to his ridiculous questions. In fact DUDE, the new 3 Series will be the 2013 model year debuting Fall 2012. Its the 6th generation Code Named F30, introduced as a 4 door at first, followed by a wagon and a coupe. The car will have a turbo 4 and also a N55 (single turbo in-line six) with the M being a twin-turbo six (good-bye 8). Now go play patty-cake with your Audi and stop trolling........OH, and I love the new Ipad 2!!!!

Oh and I'll bet you've never driven an IS-F. The trans is pretty amazing in that car..................Many fellow forum members have them and some actually like them as well..............

Geez Louise!!! Why do people always ask other people, who all have different taste/ needs, etc. what car to buy??? If there was one right car ----then there would be only one car made!!! Buy what YOU like.
If you think your getting a bunch of crap for your questions. Think about where you are asking them. The M forum may be a better place.

The M3 won't be out in 18 months time. That's a fact, the regular 3 isn't an M3 so you are wrong. Just accept it, no need to highlight your over-sensitivity and go off on one. As for the post pertaining to lag, from the first page it sounds like throttle lag not shift lag. Absent certain copies with software issues, the DCT box is very responsive in manual mode (the one I drove anyway) certainly compared to any Benz box. I like the 7G for cruising and it works well in D but the paddles may as well not be there.

Using terms like "newb" and keyboard shouting dude, real mature. Thousands of posts on an internet forum are no substitute for life experience and common sense. I won't lie and say I've driven an ISF, never seen the need. They're fine, but it's an automatic and by all accounts does not respond the best in M mode but perhaps you know better if you've been behind the wheel so I won't argue.

As for your attempts to mask your inadequacies by mocking my Audi, I don't need to respond further as you've made clear to any reader that you have no clue.

Sorry folks, I have brought up this kind of topic several times.

I don't know it's pretty embarrass to swap cars now.

2012 C63 MCT with very nice interior, new headlight, rear lights, etc ( summer )
2011 M3 MDCT very nice car but getting smoked by 997.2S, slower than C63 on straight lines ( MDCT M3 came out in 2008, it's getting old. New gen 3er is coming out end of 2011 )
2012 991 I bet the 991 S will have 400hp+ newer everything, Will be faster than 997S in every way

Basically, I want a dual clutch car. But 997S PDK now seems not very wise as I will see 991S end of this year. Also the new C63 will be very fast with MCT and very nice new interior. But the chassis still the same. 2011 M3 MDCT it is nice car and we won't see a new M3 within this two years but it will get smoke by a 997S PDK. Man........

Current ride:
2007 997 Turbo Stick ( i am kinda tired driving a stick )
2011 C63 sedan ( Fast, but stupid tranny, chassis is OKAY, M3 is better )

Looks like I have to STFU and be happy with what I got right now.

I dont know why folks are dissing the tranny on the 63 that much. I agree it is not the best, but for DD, it does very well in anticipating your needs and so does so on the track (yes it is behind any DCT type tranny). There are other Benz folks of other models who wish that they have some of the features offered in the C63 7-G (ex. match rev down shift). It is one of the best auto in the indutries.

Look, no matter what car you drive, you are always gonna be "smoked" by someone, so with that train of thought you're better off without any car at all. The C63 and the 911 TT are both very fast cars and you should enjoy them for yourself, not as a status symbol of who you can smoke to get a kick out of it.

No, my lease is up on my second M3. Wish I could afford to have both....I would keep my e46 and use the c63 as a daily driver. Hope to take delivery this week.

Anyone here with the P30/P31? How does it improve the handling vs stock?
I have the P30 option on mine. Here is what I will say about it. I had a 993 911 with a Bilstein PSS9 suspension on it. That car tracked and handle like no other. RUF in Dallas did the corner balance on the car and it was perfect. My C63 with the P30 option on it handles as good as the 911. The BIG difference with the two is the ride quality of my C63. It will crack your teeth. I wish Mercedes could have gotten a better balance between ride quality and handling. But I love my C63. It's my second AMG and it's awesome. I will refrain from saying anything about the M3 other than it's a good car. It's just not what I prefer.
