New schedule is finally posted for Pacific Raceways.

http://pacificraceways.com/Schedule/DragStrip.aspx

I'll be there testing out my new MHP V3 Tune (93 Octane) vs. my previous Kleemann K2 Tune (91 Octane).

I'm sure Even Money will be there. He's been racing up and down his driveway all Winter waiting for the track to open.

Any other Western Washington C63s interested in joining in on the fun?

Historic temps on the 16/17th are a low of 42-degrees and a high of 58-degrees.

I'll have to check my schedule. It's close to Easter, so I might be a bit busy. If anything, I'll come to support.

Hope you three can make it. It would be pretty cool to have all five of us at the TNT on one of the days.

None of our NHRA tracks (Woodburn, Pacific Raceways, etc.) are going to become less "strict." They have to meet the safety standards of the NHRA. This includes having an EMT on site during the rental and all the cars passing tech and adhering to the rules. In other words, if you run 11.499 or quicker you'll need a rollbar, safety harness, fire jacket, etc.

Anyhow, I've been talking to Jason @ PR and we're working out the details. Our group will likely be the first to rent the track. I'm certain I can get a handful of BMW owners to participate as well.

More to come once I know more.

This doesn't change the fact that I'll be at PR on the 16th/17th for TNT.

OK..Well, I guess James needs to get that rollbar completed! I'll be there at least the 16th, maybe both days. Still in for the rental...

One pass and I have been kicked off. Bummed because I know I could have picked up another tenth and MPH.

My one and only run for 2011 at Pacific Raceways:

1.733 60', 11.496 @ 120.27 MPH

Really annoying that the Track Director booted me after one pass--usually you get a warning and you can run one more time.

Not only would my car have gotten faster throughout the day (which it always does after a few passes) I left some weight savings on the table. I was running full interior including the passenger seat. Funny thing is I wanted to remove the seat this morning but didn't have the right torx socket for the seat belt bolt. I also couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get the rear seat cushion/bottom out of the car. The front side lifted up but it was still latched on in the back.

Best part of my lone run was how I started my burnout in Reverse--classic rookie move.

Anyhow, my new Personal Best ET moves me up the list a few places. I'm uploading the timeslip now.
