I think the upgraded tranny is the main reason to consider one of these vs. a used '09/'10/'11. Looks are hit or miss - if I did pick one of these up, those rims are being tossed in the shed post haste.

I'm not a fan of those blacked out factory wheels. It looks too aftermarket, like someone got the factory 19's and painted them black to be different. But that's just my opinion.

3-Series BMW for now...
I really don't like the flip-up Nav display of the current 08-11 C63. I am happy to see they removed it for a more streamline dash in 2012. Also, I think the MCT will be a big improvement.
But it's easy for me to say because I don't own one yet.

Ya, I agree. I dont like the flip up nav to much either but its something I can easily live with. I actually like most everything else on the 08-11 interior. Its no S class but I didnt by the C63 to lavish myself with gold and lace.

I drove an SL 63 a few months ago and I must say IMO the MCT alone will make me want to get a 2012. The interior is also better looking I think. As for the exterior I think the pre-facelift is more to my liking, of course this is all subjective but wanted to share my .02 none the less
