Media Interface Plus (MIP) anyone used this?
I ordered my 2012 C63 with the option:
515 Media Interface Plus (MIP) - TBD
I did some sniffing around to see if I could find some more technical information about it and came across:

It looks like it's possible to play video from an iPod/iPhone through the screen (when the car is not moving)
It also looks like it will read out emails and texts from BlackBerry's.
If I'm reading this correctly...
"The MIP supports the following text message and email read out & reply with predefined
messages for all BlackBerry phones with MAP profile (OS6)."
Seems to already be available on other Mercedes vehicles, has anyone actually used this?
I can only imagine the car reading the horrible text's I get from friends while my girlfriend is in the passenger seat.

I have it & it's a pretty cool gadget. You are correct, it reads out emails & texts from your BB, i wish it would for the iPhone!
You can also download your phone's contacts to your COMAND & stream music from Pandora!

I use it as well, and had a thread on this. And I wish the iPhone supported text and email. Other then that, I'm very happy with it so far.
