Looking for Transmission fluid change instructions
Anyone have them.. or a quick description. I found instructions for a w203 C280, but I am pretty sure our transmission is significantly different.

I figured it would be a pain, but is it possible..... I'm okay with pia, I have vacuum and pressure pumps for moving fluids around, so it would just be a matter of replacing the gasket and filter (if needed)..

The transmission is filled from the drain hole. So first you have to be able to do that. Then the level is set by fluid temperature. We use the SDS for this at work but you can check it with an infrared thermometer on the pan and just do it a little lower temp to account for exchange loss. Set it at 110F. Spec is 113F.
With the fluid overfull at around 6 quarts fill engine running open the drain plug and let the fluid drain out until you see the stream start to grab air or flutter. Put the drain plug back in and you should be good. There is a tube extension on the drain hole that sticks up about 2.5inches that must be on when you do this.
There is a special tool for knocking this tube off when draining.

To save you alot of aggravation, best to take this in to the stealership and let them deal with it.
