Keith, please post the details in the 1/4 thread so I have everything in one place. I'll update everything later tonight.

MIR keeps on producing some incredible records. I need to buy a vacation home on the East Coast.

On the 1/4 thread were I put in da u can see that it's not only the da your run was in -840 as per dragtimes.. There must be some other factor? Track prep but it's not that huge of a difference unless your pushing huge horsepower. As dads proved by running a 11.07 in Florida in +600 then coming up to Mir and posting a 11.91 best with da being -1300/-800 all day? That's .1 better with da being almost -2000 better, All everyone says is nut this Mir that, I think its more of a placebo effect, people travel to Mir and give it a little more then normal!

Do you think throwing the Westec or X-tra/Kleemann SC on either Dads or Dodger's C63 can improve on this time even more? Or does the juice overide/cancel out the benefits of the SC? I would love to see a street legal benz run a 10 flat with an SC adder and a 200 shot.

Don't base all of your assumptions on DragTimes' DA calculator. There are many factors in play.

MIR is a great track to set records at. It is known nationwide as the fastest track in the US.

Why?

1. Weather conditions are great.
2. Prep is amazing (you can even hear the VHT in the videos).
3. Their lax safety rules allow for the opportunity to run without fear of being thrown out.

Combine those three facts with a driver's opportunity to make many back to back runs to figure out how to manually shift these cars and you get some fantastic results.

Throw some race fuel in there and it is icing on the cake.

How did you mount the bottles over the spare tire? is there a metal/wood support for the bottles under the carpet?

Wayne,
Yes I do have a new C/F drivers seat. I wasn't sure how detailed you wanted to get. The passenger and rear seats were out also. Otherwise, nothing new. I was trying to cut weight.

Who do I send the 60-130 files to? I had an 8.08 on motor and a 6.59 on spray.

I disagree also....Atco is the fastest track hands down. Ask any oldtime dragracer, they'll tell ya....MIR is a VERY close 2nd behind Atco&a much nicer facility plus the fact that Jason Miller is awesome and a die hard dragracer himself

Same facts I stated above apply for Atco as well. I wish I was closer to take advantage of them.

They do need to fix their timing equipment.

Big time congrats Keith. awesome runs. You have been doing this for a while. with a bunch of ups and down, new trans rebuild, Carbon roof... The list goes on and on with the crazy mods you have. I mean cutting the roof out of a perfectly good $60K car shows all of us your willingness and dedication to not only take the C63 platform to a new level, but the over all Mercedes performance area to a un-seen levels. Much respect and well done

At least ATCO reads conservatively, unlike Sacramento (cough +3-6mph on a 120-130mph car). They need to fix Sac bad it's shameful.
