I've noticed that the standard widths for rims that people are using are 8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears. Can 10" rears fit and if they can, why aren't people using them?

I was just wondering that question. I am new here and am looking for after market wheels. seems like the problem with our 63s is getting more tire under the rear. Has anyone tried 18x10 wheels with say 285s? Looks like the et has to be perfect for 19s

Do you have any rubbing issues with your 19x10's with 275 rears? I don't intend to lower my car because the roads are too ****ty in nyc. I need all the suspension travel I can get. I'm just concerned with the rears rubbing with 10's in the rear. Do you have any pictures?

I don't have any rubbing issues. If you weren't going to lower I'd push the rears out with an et50 or et45.
but here is mine:
19x8.5 et35 245/35
19x10 et55 275/30

If I stay with an 18 could a 295 30 fit? I dont have my car yet its in storage till I return to the US. So I am not sure how much room is there. If you go to a larger rim diameter you lose torque on launch. Has anyone tried the 18 in a 10 or 10.5 with a 295?
