All I see is a typcal C63 (front fascia is not new) with "crude fender flares" (looks like a section of rolled tin actually) and mismatched wheels. Hundreds of C63's all ready have 510 HP and many have a lot more than than that. AMG has not announced that they have plans to produce a first time ever four door black series and I have not seen anything yet to convince me otherwise. I am surprised that R&T jumped on the speculation bandwagon so easily.

Agreed - if this were an anywhere close-to-production (meaning like 12-18 months) C63BS why would it be the old body style?

Interesting decision by MBZ, considering they adamantly denied there ever being a C63 BS or even a C63 2dr coupe when the car launched. It makes me wonder whether there's any truth to this or if it's 100% speculation.

Being an entry level platform, it makes me wonder how much the C63 BS price tag will creep into E63 and CLK BS territory, and whether there would be a large market for a C-Class w/that type price.

The c63s out there with that much power first don't come like that from the factory, don't have warranties, in some countries, like Germany, will not pass inspections, thus are illegal, and are not necessarily the sum of their modification parts. I expect to see the C63 BS Saloon and Coupe to be over 125K. With that price, I would go with the Maserati GranTurismo.

That may or may not be the case. Sometimes, that's how the companies work before collecting the tooling resources together for one piece or one show. Those show cars- those are all plastic under that shiny paint because it's really expensive to stamp out one unit because the dies are super expensive.
