Keep your 2010...
Yeah I like my exterior better than the 12 but man that interior... (minus the almond seats in the pic).I've seen pics where the side bolsters are red. Definitely hottness going on lol

But just like every NEW style that comes out, they always grow on me. I'm sure the 12's exterior will do the same. But yeah my 10's gotta stay with me for at least this summer. Haven't driven it enough to appreciate it

2011. While I like the interior shots, the 2012 simply looks feminized and not as tough, butchy, masculine. I think that between the looks and the sound of the 2011 it has more presence.

I think I may have to lease a C350! I like everything about the 2012 except the headlights. It also looks a bit softer to me. I have no issues with my 2009 C63. It looks aggressive. Sure the interior isn't that of a 2012, but it's not bad by any means. The things which are important (cluster, steering wheel, seats, and pedal position) are all great for me. When I'm doing 100 mph down the freeway I don't have time to admire the dash board anyhow.

From the picture the navigation screen looks to have the same graphical style that the 2011 has but ive read in a few posts in this thread insinuating that the COMMAND system is updated and an over all better package. Is there any evidence of this, and if so, what is better about it?

I think the resolution on the navigation is also improved as well.

I thought the 2012 C63 has the SLS wet pack clutch instead of a tq converter. Couple that up to the P31 package and a LSD and you've get one hell of a car to beat.

Unfortunately not from the SLS, but from the SL 63 and E 63 W212.

I like the 2011's front better but everyone will get used to 2012 by time. I hate my 2010's interior it's horrible everywhere is plastic, I feel like I'm driving a Hyundai sometimes. 2012's interior is much better. Buy the new one, newer is always better

little details matters to me.

i love the from side gills of 2011. i imagine smoke coming out of that when i'm about to gun it... 2012 side gills looks like the subaru's.

2012 headlight is ok. i prefer the 2011. although the little C that lights up (DRL) i dont know what it's called, i like that.

2012 i like the two-tone seats. (maroon color) looks badass! while the 2011 pop up navi looks 'cool', 2012's really looks clean. it looks like it really belong there.

my 02 cents

Watching the GP of Malaysia and having a few looks at the car, the new grill does not work, in my opinion, on the car. I think it works for the wider vehicles like the SL but not on this car. At the start of the GP with the C63 estate facing the camera, it looked like a Dodge Caliber. Of course from a distance! But I am just saying that the single bar takes away from the size of this car, it just doesn't look good on a narrow car.

I'm not crazy mad about the new grill either. To much SL influence. I wish they would have spent some money flaring out the rear wheels wells and get some decent sized rubber in the back.

I am pretty much of the same opinion. Nicer interior but not as wild about the front end. Can't really go wrong either way!!

I much prefer the exterior of the 2011. Looks more masculine, the way a car with this performance should.

The interior of the 2012 is arguably a little better, but color and trim make a big difference. My 2011 has a black/gray interior with wood trim, and I think it looks great -- sporty but elegant.

Overall, I think the 2011 looks better than the 2012, but we'll have to see how the performance compares ...

For me?

with the 2011 Front, Rear, Interior, and Mechanicals as a baseline out of 10,

the 2012 Front is a -2 the Rear a +1 the interior a +2 & the mechanicals a +3

I think the MCT will be phenomenal

Outside not much different. They should have flared the rear fender wells to get some decent meat under the rear. Inside is much better. The pop up nav screen is kinda funky. The big change you cant even see 7sp tranny with wet clutch pack instead of a TQ converter.

I think new interior is fantastic, and the styling is a bit of an improvement as well.

However I am not a fan of the MCT gearbox. I have yet to drive one that I would be pleased with. They are fantastic when driven in a spirited mannor, but in traffic or cruising around they suck. I much prefer the "speedshift" 7G, even if it doesnt get LC. I feel bad for our service advisor when he has to tell someone the jerky transmission is normal in their 150k SL. The only automated manuals Ive driven that truly work are the dual clutch systems.

I'll throw this in, I prefer the 2010 to the 2011, the dark headlight housings looked much better than chrome. Now all the sport base C's get dark lights.

Have you seen the DTM clip? The car just doesn't look aggressive at all. It looks like a C350 with a V8 stuffed into it.

The more I look, the more I find cars with 4 cylinders having wider rear fenders than C63's. Makes me sad. If they made 2012's wider, it would change the look dramatically, and of course, for the better!
