Traction Control
Traction Control
Ive been wondering about this for about a month now.
Ive read on this forum before that you can put the car in sport mode and number 2 traction control and have the car turn on that way every all the time with out having to reset it every time.
Is this a European, Canadian, Australian/ anything but American version thing.
I have to reset the darn car every time I start the car.
Is there a way to set the C63 so you dont have to reset the thing every time you start the car?
Wow did I muck that up again.....drunk again

I think I read that you can do that in a 2009 or some 2009 models but they changed it for 2010 so it now needs to be set each time you start up.
I think you're thinking about the S mode for the Transmission. They got rid of that in 2010. You start up in C mode everytime now. I don't believe I have read up on anything regarding starting up the car with the traction control off or in sports mode.
I seriously doubt there's a simple way of defeating the traction control permanently. I mean, lawyers will love MB for it in the US but it's kind of a legal nightmare for MBUSA don't ya think?
Have to do it every time the car starts for a 2010+ car.
The car always starts in C/ON and I have to sit there and change it to M/OFF.
It's annoying as hell when I do the tranny and then forget to do the traction, the pull out of a road and punch it only to have all power cut unknowingly.
