Seems Michael knows his lights, also seems his customer service is astonishing!
I am interested in swapping out my interior lighting to a brighter white, what will I need to do so (09 C63)? Please pm pricing.
Formally announcing that all our V3 units have not been adapted with Gel Packs. This is a high temp resistant gel substrate that we've applied to the resistor and critical solder joint to both help encapsulate the heat and insulate against heat soak, making these units more durable against heat and electrical surge related incidents.
bump. We'll be introducing a new line of H7 and H11 plasma LEDs in the next few weeks. These would be ideal for fog lights if you don't want to upgrade to HIDs. Package will be put together with big Morimoto load resistors.

are the eye lid lights hard to change? mine are burning out I think, they are really dim these days
The driver side is a harder than the passenger side due to space, but it's definitely a DIY. Start on the passenger side so you can see how it works. Driver side you'll mostly be going off touch.
Twist off the dust cap, and pull out the socket that's pressure held. It's free twisting so might need to twist it a bit to loosen any dirt/grime. If you can't get a good grip, angled needle nose pliers help. Then just pull out the OEM halogen bulb and plug in these LEDs.

it's kind of a pain to fit your hand through on the driver's side to twist off the dust caps and more so to turn the bulb socket out of the fixture. it's a relatively easy job, but pretty frustrating at times because the space is so tight. i have found that a flashlight and long tweezers helps immensely for removing the bulb sockets out.
on the other hand, i've recently received some new v5 leds from michael that are working great. they're brighter than the v4 line and do not have the flickering problem that the former tends to develop. also, michael's customer service is top notch.
I just changed my eyelids yesterday they are not hard per se just hard to reach too. I put the caps back on but I don't think even one went on the way its supposed to as I saw the white rubber seal sticking out. I just made sure they were tight enough so as to not fall and left it. lol
I replaced my eyelids with PIAA white lights bulbs though and not LED's as the LED's I put in my old C350 kept burning out/flickering. Couldn't deal with changing them out all the time.
Michael, I'm looking for a brake/backup (red/white) light to be fitted on my Vorstiener FL rear diffuser (within the mesh part)...you have anything like that? or can you custom make one? Thanks

The only thing I can think of is taking our 5 LED strip and splice it in to the brake trigger and reverse trigger wire.
Hello Mike I have your morimoto hid kit installed and has been going strong for over a year now. However my side marker lights were ordered via ebay prior to me discovering your website and now I need to replace my sidemarker lights. My main question here is do you think the 194 LED wedges would push up against the side marker itself ?
They shouldn't. The new V5 units have actually a longer plate for you to insert the unit into which makes the length of unit post-socket comparable to our V3 units that had plenty of clearance.
AZN Optics is now offering next generation Morimoto XB35 HID conversion kits. Available for order on our site www.aznoptics.com or PM us for more details.
Hello... I am looking for W204 license plate LEDS to replace ones I have burnt out. Prefer white, but doesn't need to be super bright, just clean. Plug 'n play please... Thx.

I have a 2012 Coupe, with intelligent light system. I'm not sure if this is standard or not...but anyways, I'd like to simply make the night time headlights brighter.
I was sitting at the lights next to a new E400 coupe, and that lighting system is noticeably brighter. Would love to have something like that.

What would you recommend?
Thanks in advance
You can upgrade your low beam D1S bulb. If you want something brighter, I'd suggest the Morimoto D1S XB55 bulb. We only carry XB35 bulbs, but can have an XB55 bulb special made for you if you wish. XB55 burn brighter, but has a slightly shorter lifespan than XB35 (still about the same as your OEM). Additionally, if budget isn't an issue, we can also get you Osram Xenarc 66144 CBI which are probably the best D1S bulbs on the market. Let us know!
