May seem pointless, but to pass the time, heres a ques: what color center caps to get
I really like the white/red/blue ones but I have not seen them on a silver car...so just curious on people's thoughts. Yes, I know its a dumb question, but I do want to see if there is a consensus. Ive always gone black/silver but thats because I had black wheels....so if you have an opinion, Id love to hear it.

I have brushed aluminum wheels with polished lips - last year I went with these
Then I bought these and they didnt look right on black so never put them on ... anyone wants em ill sell them cheap

You can go old school and get the classic MBZ logo/star in black if you can find them. Most of them are blue. You been at ACG lately?

I have the black/silver, but ordered the colored ones to try out after i get the new color done on my centers. I always liked the classic colored caps. All my other HRE's i had the etched aluminum caps.

Sorry for bumping an old thread from Pertplus.. But I'm in the same dilemma.
My new wheels came with the grey/black centercaps, but should I get the red/blue caps like my old P40 instead?

It's really all a matter of personal preference. I had both the black/silver and the classic red/white/blue center caps when I got my wheels. I decided to go with the classic HRE center caps since this was my first pair and they popped more. On a white car, both styles look good. Maybe Matt can chime in on this one since he's on his 20th pair of HREs and he's probably tried every combination of wheel finish and center caps.

I really like the classic red/blue, but the grey/black might grow on me. Too bad they cost a lot at HRE or else I would get an extra set to switch them up.
Well, I got few months to make up my mind as a friend on mine can swap with me if I want the red/blue caps. Tough choice!

Seems like the majority likes the grey/black.. So I might look for a used red/blue set as a second set vs trading it with my friend.
