safe mode

My friend's C63 transmission always goes to "safe mode" after a few laps in the track. Anything to cure this?

dont use M mode, take it easy, add the finned differential cooler, add a tranny cooler, use your brakes to slow down not gears

I say the issue is entirely because of too much downshifting at high RPM. Brake more then downshift later. Lapped on hot days many times, never had a problem.

If its really hot and your transmission is having issues before your brakes, that pretty much confirms it.

I thought we already had a trans cooler?

Good advice nonetheless.
