Finally, supercharged!

Finally, supercharged!
About a week ago, I began noticing a whine similar to a supercharger out of nowhere. After all this reading about Superchargers, I figured Santa decided to deliver my present a few months early. Anyway, I checked under the hood and it sounds like it could be the pulley.
Here's a quick video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0BdboqCUak
Sounds a lot better in M mode, seriously very similar to a supercharger.
Dropped it in for servicing @ MB, guess we'll find out soon enough. Have you had to change your pulley yet?

Sounds like pulley whine to me. Did you turn on the A/C to see if it made a difference in the sound? Either way you should be covered by warranty so I wouldn't worry too much.

The cause was indeed the "Upper Guide Pulley." They replaced it and the whine went away.
Although, something weird happened afterwards. My headlights got jacked up. In the OFF position, they remained on (flickering on and off every fifteen-ish seconds). And when in the ON position, they stayed off longer than they were on. Weird much? I'm glad it happened in the day.. for all I know, I could've been speeding down the hill and booooooooooom.
I noticed the problem right when I took it off the lot, and brought it right back to have them look at it. Did the factory reset on the lights/etc., but that didn't solve anything. The tech said maybe the detailing guys messed with something they weren't supposed to. The waiting period begins again.. if it isn't one thing, then it's something else =)
