Nice job tator, congrats.
Agreed, they should make the drivers switch cars. Does not take into account that driver A may not have experience with driver B's car and vice versa, but would be more interesting if they switched and did all 3.

I think some of the attitude is encouraged by RP for the show. I agree that the M3 driver comes accross as a real a$$. I think Tator did a respectable job for his very limited experience driving the C63 in that type of venue. If RP does this again next year, we need to send a C63 with someone that has lots of track time. Hell, I might even be willing to jump in there and show the M3 a C63 whoopin!

The whole thing looks pretty underwhelming and that roadcourse looked like a joke. And did the AMG jump the light or M3 guy have the slowest reflexes ever

The one thing out of the entire video that caught my attention was the femenine manerism of the guy. No ofense but the M-3 driver had zero masculine appeal, are you guys with me? A pink fire protection racing jacket would suit him very well in my opinion...
On a diferent note, I am not surprise. AMG created a master piece engine, better weight/power out put than a LS7 engine but still have to deal with a weight of 3950lbs and tiny bicycle rear tires.
Add other engineering disasters like not having a LSD and that is your perfect recipe to lose to a M-3 with well designed rear wheel weels/fenders, rear LSD and lighter overall weight...

Not just a rich kid with a nice car. I'm a certified stunt driver, and 2 class N.A.S.A Race Licensed driver.

I think the reason why the board turned on him was that many people wanted him to "no-show" and he wouldn't and remained silent while Drake was still posting. Didn't help that Tator's brother or friend was posting on his behalf either. Don't know the reason why he didn't no-show unless he already signed some legal agreement or he wanted his 15 mins of fame on cyberspace. I don't know Tator so I'll reserve judgement. However, I wished we had a different representative from the forum.

It would appear the contestants were chosen for the entertainment value rather than any real representation of the respective forums. Our "champion" projects an image where driving means windows down and stereo up. The BMW rep is a classic case of truth being stranger than fiction. They could not have invented a character more outlandish than how this kid appears. The whole thing reminds me of why I used to watch the first week or so of Idol in the Simon days.

I have not been following any of the forum wards threads.. but I am curious.. why did MBW not field are more appropriate car/driver..
Honestly, I watched the youtube vid with no sound.. and from that.. both drivers looked like tools. I'm not one to judge on personal appearances much.. but really.....

I thought the C63 kid did a great job. There is no doubt the C63 is clearly the faster straight line car.......where most of us do our racing. As for the autocross and slalom, I dare say that was the first time the C63 kid ever saw a road course or cones. I don't know about the rest of you, but I have never been on a road course or slalom. All I care about is straight line.
Also, the C63 Kid might have been a little nervous in the interview but that was expected and he didn't say anything crazy stupid like that BMW M3 A$$. How many of us have come across M idiots like that one.....too many. But if a stock M3 ever comes across a stock C63 at a stop light........well, we know who wins that race.
