I have 09 C63 USA version..

I got new ipod cable for charging!! (Black cable..)

the only thing Im confused is..
if I can control the ipod on the comand screen after I get MIP since ive changed the cable..

some ppl say yes n some ppl say no..
so, im kinda confused.. lol

Can anybody ANSWER ME about this QUESTION?!

What is MIP? I have a 09' C63 and I purchased the optional Ipod charging interface cable for $375(*******s!!) but I don't know what you mean with MIP.

Mine charges the Ipod and I can play the music thought the menu on the streering wheel.

No.. what you need is to retrofit UCI that comes on 2010+ cars in the US..

U can just plug this on ur car n u can do tonz of stuff such as sync ur contacts on ur phone to ur car, use pandora, control ur ipod/iphone on ur monitor, text/email w/ ur car(only for blackberry) stuff like that lol

For 08-09 Multi Media Screen (ie the pop up nav screen) does not support an Ipod display. The only display you get is the command center screen after you switch to audio and you have to use the steering wheel buttons to navigate the Ipod. For 2010 the Multi Media Screen will display the full Ipod menu and you can use the normal multifunction command control knob. I've check with several dealers and MBZ factory and they all have said there is no firmware/software upgrade for 08-09.

Im confused too. I have the command with Nav, and MM. So do i need the UCI, and the MIP or just the MIP?
