so is MB underquoting the HP on the P31 performance package??

so is MB underquoting the HP on the P31 performance package??
I find it weird that they say it has approx 480hp yet we are seeing races where it is neck and neck with the approx 525hp full ecu unlocking tunes. Is this a similar claim like the initial launch SL55 AMG (R230) units with '476hp' but they all seemed to be pumping out approx 500hp when tested independently??

and I think they might be underrating the hp so it won't compete with the higher end cars that cost 30k + more.
