Man, you guys are making me second guess my "plain" obsidian black order!!
I really wish I could of seen magnetite black in person.. I might have ordered it !

Miserly mpg, exhibitionist torque (i.e. Q5 TDI)
I ordered Magnetite, but to be blunt, the difference between mag and obsidian or standard black is very subtle. At a quick glance they look the same. I still don't understand why MB replaced the distinctive Steel Gray with a color that looks almost identical to two other already available options.

I wanted to order steel grey at first.. I was disappointed they took it off. It is still available in coupe tho.

I believe Steel Gray (or Tenorite Gray as it is also known) is available on coupes in Europe and maybe Canada, but my dealer told me it is not an option in the U.S.

I just got a call from my dealer with some awesome news. He managed to get an allocation for an Edition 1 Coupe with a build date exactly the same as my order.
I took the plunge and swapped my order over to that!
