It's hard to know how long it takes for your order to get a build date, there are a number of factors.
Great specs, I'll keep my eye out for you when it gets here. What dealership did you go with? I initially went to Autobahn but I was getting a bad vibe from the new car manager so I cancelled and moved my order to Smythe European.

Hey CaliSun, How you holdin up with the wait? haha I keep checkin up on the status of the vessel but no update!! Hopefully it isn't running late since its suppose to be in panama tomorrow and there hasn't been an update for 6ish days!

I just went to my dealership again to get my delivery date and I'm being told I'll get it in April with a build in January! That seems a bit long to me! I have another MB dealer 20 minutes away. Should I go to them to see what slots they have available?

I agree with Flooby, go see your other dealer. It can only help your position if you have two dealers fighting for your business.
It takes about 6 weeks for it to get delivered to California so that seems a bit long for the east coast.

I don't know where they have sensors to pick up the ships so it might not appear in range again till it is just off the coast of Panama. Hopefully it will pop up by the coast tonight and be right on schedule.

Port Hueneme shows the Volans Leader still due to dock on Nov 29th and that was as of Nov 10th so still looks on schedule.

Just placed my order today.
So, I'm gathering by reading all the posts that there are some real questions about delivery dates. I ordered white/red-black, alum trim, lighting package, camera, illuminated sills, Rear airbags, S32, LSD and the P31 package.
I ordered thru Naples Mercedes. Any insight on how to keep tabs on them? I put down 5k, but I dont want to wait until April as I've read here. I was told 10-12 weeks. Pipe dream?

It is really hard to tell what your build date might be. If they are telling you it will be there 10-12 weeks it is possibly they had an allocation they were getting to put on the lot and they edited it for you. MB doesn't have an order tracker so your dealer will be on your speed dial. Lol

My salesperson told me a typical C class including C63's takes approximately 4-6 weeks to build. The two tone interior takes an additional 2-4 weeks. Then there is the transit time.
